We provide a safe home, nutritious meals, medical care, and human compassion to elders who have been abandoned by their families and left on the streets. Through your Sadaqah and Zakah, we restore dignity, comfort, and hope to those the world has forgotten.

How we care for Abandoned elders
Fatima Old Age Home supports vulnerable elders through year-round programs funded by Sadaqah and Zakah: Safe Shelter A permanent home for elders abandoned on the streets or outside hospitals. Daily Meals Fresh, nutritious food so no elder sleeps hungry again. Medical Care Basic treatment, medication, and regular health checkups. Hygiene & Clothing Bathing assistance, clean clothes, and personal care. Emotional Support Companionship, dignity, and respect in their final years.
What is Zakah?
Zkah is a mandatory charitable contribution for every adult muslim who meets the Nisab threshold. it is one of the five pillars of Islam.
How to calculate Your Zakah?
To calculate your Zakah, you must sum your “Zakahable” assets that have been in your possession for one lunar year.
Total Assets x 0.025= Zakah due
Goal: 63,00,000/-
What to include/exclude
Add: Cash, Gold & Silver, Investments, Business Assets.
Subtract: Immediate Debts, Upcoming Essential Bills.

We currently provide a full-time sanctuary for 50 abandoned elders. your ZZakah ensures they never have to worry about where their next meal or medical check-up will come from.
We maintain a strict 100% Zakah policy. every penny of your Zakah is utilized directly for food, medicine, and shelter of eligible residents of FOAH.

The Story Behind Fatima Old Age Home
“Have you ever seen an 80-year-old break down in tears, begging for help? I have—and it was heartbreaking.” — Abdul Wasif, Founder When Abdul Wasif returned to India to care for his aging mother, he discovered countless elders abandoned by their families—some thrown out of their homes, others left outside hospitals, waiting for help that never came. That pain became purpose. Fatima Old Age Home was born to ensure that elders live their final years with dignity, not despair. “We sit with them, listen to their stories, and remind them… they are still loved.”
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: «مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ» “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Sahih Muslim) Your Sadaqah and Zakah can be the reason an elder feels safe, fed, and valued again.
